Youth Alive has existed since 1982 and has seen more than 300,000 teenagers make faith commitments nationwide. At our core, we exist to REACH young people with the gospel, RAISE up leaders, and RESOURCE churches. Ultimately, we are here to support, strengthen and REVIVE youth ministries across the nation and to future-proof the church by offering development pathways for young leaders to grow into great leaders experienced in leading young people to Christ, discipling and multiplying the believers around them.

We are excited to expand our core operating model in South Australia to now offer another layer of support to the Youth Ministries we serve. We want to help resource the vision of Youth Ministries, who are believing to reach teenagers in their local areas. For many Youth Ministries, we know that your vision may be bigger than your resource. This is where this fund comes in…. Youth Alive South Australia has raised finances through individuals and churches who believe in the next generation, and because of their generosity, we are now able to offer grants of between $1000 and $5000 to help local youth ministries reach more teenagers.

In the Bible, David used a slingshot to take out Goliath. If you’ve got something big you’re believing to do, this fund can help provide the stones you need to take down a giant.

We believe that this fund will help successful applicants turn the tide in their Youth Ministry.

The objective of the Youth Alive Evangelism Fund is to support innovative youth evangelism projects delivered through local youth ministries.

ELIGIBILITY & DESIRED APPLICANTS

Option 1
$1,000 - $2,000

The Youth Alive Youth Ministry Evangelism Fund provides a maximum of 75% of the total project/program cost.

Option 2
$2,000 - $5,000

The Youth Alive Youth Ministry Evangelism Fund provides a maximum of 50% of the total project/program cost.

The first step is to gain an understanding of the selection criteria. This will help you to develop an idea that fits within the requirements of the grant.

Step 2 - Speak to a Youth Alive Network Coach

Once you have an idea for your proposed activity/program speak with one of our Youth Alive Network Coaches to discuss the eligibility of your activity/program and to guide you in the application process.

Step 3 - Complete and submit your application

Use the following checklist to help prepare an application for grant funding:

Provide the vision of the project and how it will help engage young people with the message of Jesus.

● Provide a description of the target audience and describe how the project will be tailored toward them.
● Provide a plan to deliver the project
● Outline how this evangelistic project is part of a broader strategy to connect young people with your local youth ministry.
● Commit to utilising Youth Alpha as a part of your follow-up strategy for this project
● Provide a detailed budget and a summary of how your youth ministry’s finances are handled.
● How will you measure the success of the proposed project? As a part of this, please provide quantitative and qualitative goals and how they will be measured.
● Commit to a ‘Project Reflection’ survey to help Youth Alive create effective and innovative ideas and resources for other local churches and youth ministries in the future. This survey will require specific data including ‘goals vs outcomes’ for the project.
